What do you want?
OK. So you have an overview of the process and a few ideas about how to make meditation workable.
Next up is choosing what you want to get out of meditation.
The first video gives you an overview of how to choose what you want and the 5 choices that are available in this guide.
And then below that there are brief descriptions of each choice. Choice can be exciting but it can also get a bit overwhelming. Take your time, there’s no rush.
Freedom
Here, freedom is about finding freedom with thoughts.
Relief
In this context, relief is about finding some relief with difficult feelings. Through learning how to hold difficult feelings with space and care, we can find an easier relationship with them.
Joy
Rather than ignoring or covering over difficulty, we can cultivate joy as inner strength to help us meet the challenges we face.
Calm
Other words associated with calming are grounding, steadying and soothing.
Care
This is about connecting with feelings of care using your imagination and your sense of your body.
