You don’t have to go it alone
Weekly Wednesdays
A free space to practice and connect with others
Like many things, developing a mindfulness practice is harder to do alone.
These sessions are a chance to come together with other people to learn and practice mindfulness. In these 45-minute sessions you can create some space in the middle of your day. Led by an experienced mindfulness teacher, you'll be able to stop, connect with yourself and others, and practice mindfulness.
This is a small group, cameras on affair so expect to interact with people.
They happen every Wednesday from 12.00pm to 12.45pm (UK time) on Zoom. There’s no charge for these sessions.
Doors close at 12.05pm. No problem if you need to leave early.
If you sign up up below I’ll send you a Zoom link.
Is this the right time for me to do this?
When times are tough, mindfulness can be helpful. There are also times when mindfulness may not be the right thing to do. This will depend on your personal circumstances and your experience of mindfulness.
In deciding whether this is right for you, circumstances such as recent bereavement, other major life changes, and some types of previous or ongoing mental illness may mean that this is not the right time for you to engage in these sessions.
If you have any questions about this, please get in touch.
About Alex
I've been practising mindfulness for over 20 years and teaching it for over 10.
For many years, connecting with other people was the part I paid the least attention to. I just wanted to sit around with my eyes closed. That was a mistake. We need other people. They help us make sense of things and, when the conditions are right, they help us feel safe.
Everything I do now involves connecting with other people. These sessions are an example of this.
